Analysis on Supply of Network Information Resources in China

Supplying abundant network information resources is one of the most important conditions of realizing informatization in China. The paper analyzes characteristics of network information resources and concludes that the government should focus on lowering excluding costs in supplying network information resources - such as promoting network payment, strengthening intellectual property right protection - so that a healthy market environment could be built up. Besides, market mechanism should be employed when the government directly supplies network information resources in order to improve efficiency.
