Design and Research of Military Information Discovery Metadata Standard

The framework to construct the metadata standard was presented,the draft of discovery metadata standard was designed,the approach to choose the elements was introduced,and the metadata elements were defined in UML.The metadata was expressed in a formal way with RDF language.The construction and use of discovery metadata provided foundational support to the data project and offered a new approach for data discovery.
