CORBA is an object-oriented distributed calculation platform raised by the Object Management Group(OMG).In the paper,the CORBA technology is introduced in detail,and it is considered that CORBA is one of the ideal specifications when integrating heterogeneous distributed applications.Then the security information management model in the SKJ2004 project is taken as an example to describe the implementation process of heterogeneous distributed database systems based on CORBA.
