The Calculation of Leveling Errors Based on Mathematical Model

Leveling is an important part of engineering survey.The accuracy of leveling depends on factors such as systematic errors and accidental errors.For a long time,we always calculate or eliminate leveling errors through leveling network and closure error,of which the most accurate one is the least square method which is complicated in computing method and labor-intensive and needs the support of denser leveling network.This paper introduces the principle of least square method of leveling errors calculation and reduction,the method of calculating leveling errors using mathematical model and the related model,and provides useful reference to the calculation of leveling errors especially high accuracy leveling errors and improves leveling precision.
