Objective To explore the application of fresh whole blood as the substitute calibrator on hematology analyzers.?Methods With the calibrated Sysmex-3000 as the target machine,fresh whole blood sample as the calibrator was delivered among Sysmex-3000 and Sysmex-KX-21 and AC-920.?Results After calibration,the deviation of readings from varied machines were acceptable. The results of the same sample analyzed on different machines were comparable.?Conclusion Fresh whole blood can be used to substitute for the calibrator on series hematology analyzers.
