Research on design and construction of 110 kV intelligent substation

The intelligent substation is a critical part of smart grid.Zengjiachong 110 kV intelligent substation was put into operation at 26th Dec 2010,and it is a great breakthrough.The construction process of Zengjiachong in Changsha district was taken as an example in this paper to discuss the differences between the intelligent substation and the conventional substation.Then the design of the intelligent primary equipment,as well as the implementation of automation systems and intelligent state detection function,was put forward.At last,the solution to the operational problems was summed up.It provided a successful example for the follow-up intelligent substation construction.
