Study on stability of DM9000E in numerical control system interface application

Ethernet is a tendency in numerical control system digital interface utilization,but the stability of general Ethernet chip used in the numerical control system digital interface communication has not been reported yet.The general Ethernet chip DM9000E is used,and the experiment is conducted to imitate SERCOS protocol.The system is stable when the communication cycle is set more than 250 μs in the experiment.The result shows that the general Ethernet chip also may meet the requirement of the numerical control system digital interface.
