Region of Interest Based Image Retrieval

A region of interest based image retrieval method has been put forward. Based on the saliency map and relative position map, append to color information, use the subregion based region grow method to pick up the region of interest. For the image character describe, this thesis not only describes the ROI but also describes the holistic character. It can weaken the infection of inaccurate ROI acquisition, enhance the retrieve accurate. After experimented this method is much effective to that images which has obvious contents or that relatively single color images.
