It is a focus of how to model complex system with characteristic of parallel, di stribution, opening, intelligence and sociality for the researchers in the field s of computer applications, artificial intelligence and sociology for a long tim e. The concept of Multi-Agent System(MAS) gives a possible way to solve this problem. Two kinds of coordination models——Data-driven and Control-dr iven coordination model are introduced and their characteristics are described a nd analyzed respectively. Then, these two kinds of coordination models a re compared in their advantages, disadvantages and application domains, which is helpful to model Multi-Agent Systems when choosing coordination models.
