Long-distance Automatic Collection Ammeter Reading System and Communications Mode

The system, named as long distance automatic collection ammeter reading, is to collect long distance industrial/residential ammeter data, and transmit these data to management department. From the view point of network, the architecture of long distance automatic collection ammeter reading system has tree mode network architecture. Communications technology is the key to realize long distance automatic cdlection ammeter reading system. This paper discusses the main issue, i.e. how to optimize the designing with various communications modes and construct a system with smaller investment, higher reliability and more range of use.
