Heterogeneous Database Integration and Query in CDGE

Focusing on distributed,heterogeneous database environment of college data grid,based on the grid service,a method on database access and integration is presented.A uniform virtual data view is provided for the user and distributed query is supported.Based on the analysis and research of the present distributed query technology,a join algorithm of massive data,which adapts to grid environment,is introduced.According to the intrinsic parallelism of distributed query,by using data partition,higher parallelism degree can be achieved and response time can be improved. The theoretical analysis shows that the algorithm achieves better performance in decreasing network transmission cost and minimizing the response time.
