Structured Open-Equation Modeling on The Large-Scale Process System

Based on the open-equation modeling method and theory of structure,this paper presents a methodology of structured open-equation organization.After absorbing the modularization ideology,the paper studies the advantages of structured architecture on maintaining and extending equation models.Then,with the object-orientation and Hash technology support,the paper design and implement the open-equation modeling toolbox,OMSMAT(Open-equation Modeling System in Matlab),in Matlab.At last,an example of distillation column using OMSMAT is presented.In this article,we focus on some key solutions about the design of equation-based system,construction of atom model,module building,inheritance,reusable capability and fast searching on variables and equations.
