Process coupling and membrane technology

Process coupling is one of the research hotspots in applied technology. With the development of membrane science and technology great progress of the technology for process coupling has been made. This paper introduced fundamental concepts on the analysis with fields and fluids, and described some processes, such as membrane extraction, membrane extractive fermentation, enzyme membrane reaction and affinity membrane process.
