The technology of DRM and IBOC for digital AM broadcasting

Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) and iBiquity Digital's In-band On-Channle (IBOC) are two schemes of terrestrial digital audio broadcasting under 30 MHz recommended by ITU. In this paper, the major techniques adopted by these two systems are introduced. Based on the prudent comparison and analysis, some comments are made for the development of digital AM audio broadcasting in China.
