An improved method based on wavelet texture for language recognition

An improved method based on wavelet texture is proposed for language recognition.In the method, alterable thresholds instead of distances are used to judge the language of a document image, and then it has reject function.The result of identifying may be adjusted by changing these thresholds to according with usersrequests.The accuracy is 76.40% in a test of 1420 document images.
