Since the UAV advantages in security and economy, compared to manned aircrafts,it has been applied experimentally in aerogeophysics. The fixed-wing UAV were employed in our aeromagnetic detection system to obtain the geophysical magnetic anomaly information. The purpose of magnetic compensation is to remove the interference introduced by the aircraft platform.Herein states the composition of the fixed-wing UAV aeromagnetic detection system, interference sources, interference field modeling and the compensation flight scheme. The magnetic compensation of manned aircrafts has been well eatablished, but it's hard for the fixed-wing UAV to make the routinely compensation flight like the manned aircraft, therefore we didn't get the corresponding data. The fuselage is made of glass steel, howerver,it could be assumed the eddy-current magnetic field generated by the UAV is negligible. In this way,aground-based method for compensation is tentatively proposed, based on the signal characteristics obtained from analysis of aeromagnetic data, aiming at the magnetic compensation processing of the aeromagnetic total field data acquired through low magnetic UAV platform.
