Study on Selecting Mother Wavelet for ECG de-noising Based on MATLAB

This article attempts to evaluate the de-noising result of a signal with the correlation coefficient,compares the correlation coefficients of the original signal and those which are decomposed and reconstructed with four mother wavelets under different parameters,validates the comparison with SNR and RMSE to select the best wavelet for ECG,it is coherent to the theoretical result. The experiment presents that the selected wavelet is used to de-noise a signal and the result is perfect. As a conclusion,it is feasible to use correlation coefficients to select the best wavelet.
