An Optimal Realization Model for Object-Oriented Real-Time Multitask Systems

Hui Chen · Computer Engineering and Science · 2003

This paper presents an optimal realization model based on the preemption threshold for real-time multitask systems, which has low overheads and higher schedulability. It expands a fixed priority scheduling model and minimizes run-time costs by minimizing the number of threads in the implementation. Meanwhile, this paper discusses a realization algorithm for mutually non-preemptive groups and the assignment algorithm for the maximal preemption threshold of each task .
