Image Retrieval based on Color Features

In this paper,the general methods of color-based image retrieval are summarized,the extraction of color features,the calculation of similar measure and the methods of improving the retrieval performance are discussed.On the basis of this,a new research direction,image retrieval based on the human visual system model is presented.
