A Self-merging Clustering Algorithm Based on Cohesion

Data clustering is the key step of data mining. Aimed at the instability of clustering results based on Euclidean distance to compute the similarity, this paper proposes a clustering method based on cohesion to compute the dissimilarity. By simulation comparison, it proves that the new algorithm has superiority to others.
