A Comparison of Vocabulary of Meixian Dialect and Mandarin

This paper made a comparative study on vocabulary of Meixian dialect and mandarin according to 1230 words in vocabulary of Chinese Dialects.The result shows that Meixian dialect has 617 words which are similar to mandarin,taking up 50.16% of the total.That is to say,613 words are different from mandarin,taking up 49.84% of the total.
