Researsh on Web User Service in Web Log Mining

Being rich in data but deficient in knowledge leads to the appearance of Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining.Web-based data mining is finding knowledge automatically and intelligently from a great deal of web data. The concept, characteristics and technology of web-based data mining are summarized. The most recognized approach is to categorize Web mining into three areas : Web content mining, Web structure mining, and Web usage mining .Web Usage mining is the application of data mining technology to usage logs of server. Based on the latest frequent access paths of the Web mining access model, according to the current state of Web mining, this article mainly discusses the individual information service to Web users. At the same time , this article gives a discussion concerning the use of discovered knowledge in online server system.
