MPEG-2 system multiplexor of several encoded streams

A new MPEG-2 system multiplexor is proposed and packetizing and multiplexing method with the same packet timing is presented. and then, a control model of MPEG-2 encoder system is built, and analysed using the control theory. Experiments show that the multiplexor and every encoder in the MPEG-2 encoder system can work normally and stably. Possible applications of this multiplexor include applications in computer multimedia, satellite or cable transmission, and video on demand, etc.
