Competitiveness Model Based on Improved GMDH & AC Algorithm —Application in Iron & Steel Industry

In this paper,competitiveness model in iron steel industry is researched from a new view with the self-organization of data mining algorithm.Firstly,the competitiveness evaluation index system in steel industry and their weights are generated using the algorithm of GMDH.Secondly,the steel evaluation model is established with analog complexion Algorithm.We analyze the competitive position of Hebei province,and compare with other areas.Lastly,we come to conclusions that Hebei is not strong in steel industry,and that in order to enhance the competitiveness,we can draw some lessons from Shanghai and Liaoning which are similar to Hebei in the developing path of iron steel industry.
