An implementation of motion estimation in VDSP

Motion estimation is the core technique of the motion compensation. Based on the comparison of several motion estimation algorithms,such as optical flow equation algorithm(OFA), block matching algorithm(BMA) and pixel recursion algorithm(PRA), a typical hardware circuit of BMA algorithms with low hardware complexity is showed in details. Using this technique a new VDSP ASIC has been designed.
