Second-scrambling algorithm for color images

With the security problem of image information as research background, a new scrambling method is proposed based on the storage characteristic of color images. The improved Gray code is used to realize the tricolor scrambling transformation in spatial domain. Then the scrambling index matrix is built by the information embedded in image, which separately scrambles the position of color image under ergodic transformation. This method is safe as well as simple. Experimental results show that the proposed al- gorithm has better scrambling effect in comparison with other approaches, it’s easy to realize, and the algorithm has higher encryption efficiency.
