Application of AD6636 in a Wideband Digital Intermediate Frequency Receiver

Digital down converter technique is one of the key technologies in wideband DIFR.The main features and working principle of AD6636,which is a recently produced digital down converter(DDC) of AD Company with better performance,is described in this paper.According to computer simulations about filter of wideband and narrowband signals,this paper proposes one method based on high precision digitial quadrature down converter and decimating filter of AD6636,and FPGA at the same time to achieve the filter of wideband signal in design of a wideband digital intermediate frequency receiver,which could remedy the shortage of AD6636 about the filter of wideband signal.And the filter of wideband digital signal could be carried out.
