The Study of the Challenges of Digital Communication to the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights on the Networks

With the development of the network technology, the protection of the copyright of works on the networks has encountered severe challenges. On the one hand, the traditional term of copyright is likely to be redefined in the network society; on the other hand, the courts have encountered or will encounter many new problems while dealing with cases on violation of copyright on the networks. In order to make the networks develop healthily and rapidly, countermeasures should be put forward as early as possible according to the features of the networks and the national conditions in China.
