Factorization and parameterization of GHM-like orthogonal multiwavelet filter banks

A factorization formula and its corresponding parameterization method of the GHM-like orthogonal multiwavelet filter bank are proposed in this paper, which can be applied to the optimal design and efficient implementation of this kind of multiwavelets. A design example of the multiwav- elets with optimum time-frequency resolution is given.
