The Application of MATLAB in Pattern Recognition

MATLAB offers us simple and effective pogramming environment for the realization of pattern recognition with artificial neural networks.Taking character recognition problem for example,this paper introduces a method of programming pattern recognition by using the artificial neural networks toolbox of MATLAB.
