Research on Virtual Harddisk Based on Fingerprint Identification

In order to prevent secret data from being stolen or tampered,a virtual harddisk encryption approach based on fingerprint identification is introduced.Based on Windows device driver,some technologies are included in this approach which virtual harddisks are created,real-time encryption and decryption of data stream in the process of responding virtual harddisk's I/O request is embedded,users ID are identified by fingerprint identification,and thus the security of the files stored in virtual disks is ensured.The experimental results show that this approach is a secure,defective,convenient solution of file cryptographic storage.
