At present stage digital video monitoring system in China is inflexible in saving and calling data,of low reliability and difficult in combining with other systems. In order to solve the problems,a new stage video supervision and scheduling system was proposed, which is based on IP camera, streaming media server and IP storage area network. The structure of this system was designed. The main functions of the system and performances of major units were analyzed. The results showed that the system can meet effect of performance in modern stage and requirements in scheduling, and remarkably improve efficiency in scheduling.
