The Lightning-proof Techniques Used in the Digital Seismic Observatory System of Shanxi Province

The proper lightning proof techniques are adopted in Digital Seismic Observatory System of Shanxi Province based on the local situation. Special ground connector and lighting rod are developed and lasting resistance-reducing technique is adopted. High effective lightning proof devices are used in the power supply and signal system. The test operation of the system indicate that these lightning proof devices can effectively protect the observatory system from lightning strike.
