Research and Construction of an Ecpert System with Case-Based Reasoning for Database Schema Design

Database schema design is the core task in developing information system.A Design Expert System for Database Schema(DES DS) is proposed based upon case based reasoning.In order to solve the database schema design problems by using CBR technipues,the representations of the users' design specification and previous design cases,organization and retrieval of th case bases,adjustment and learning of the cases are described respectively.Hence the efficiency and effectiveness of database schema design can be improved.
