Subjective and objective weights and their application on slope stability comprehensive evaluation

Objective:to discuss the determination of index weight in comprehensive appreciation.Method: to combine the objective weighting method and subjective importance ranking method to determine index weight,which is used in the comprehensive evaluation of soil slope stability.Result: to correct evaluations of slope stability on 10 slopes mentioned in this paper;Conclusion: the application of subjective and objective weighting method,both making the best use of statistical information from samples and taking experts’ theories and experience,can obtain reasonable index weight,with which used in the comprehensive evaluation,correct results are secured.
