A Multicast Channel Assignment Algorithm for Wireless Mesh Networks

In the wireless mesh network,multicast is a very important technique.It requires increasing network throughput within the limited bandwidth.Minimizing multicast tree' s interference can improve the network throughput in channel assignment.This paper proposes a multi-channel multicast channel assignment algorithm.This algorithm uses data traffic to represent the degree of interference and considers the same channel and adjacent channel interference to improve wireless mesh network throughput by reducing the interference.Simulation results show that this algorithm can achieve better network throughput.
