Study on Segmentation Method of Tree Ring Images Based on Dynamic Threshold Algorithm

According to the properties of tree ring images,an adaptive segmentation method on tree ring images of ellipse boundary and the method of maximum classes square error based on variation characteristics of histogram was proposed,and the method was used to segment the larch ring images. The results showed that the segmentation effect of the method on tree ring images was very ideal.
