A New Method for Noise Removal Based on Total Variation

This paper presents a new total variational approach using adaptive parameter for denoising and keeping the information of edges and corners. It not only introduces the idea of combining isotropic and anisotropic diffusion, but also considers the local information of the image. Experiment results indicate that it performs well.
