An Estuarine and Coastal Data Service Platform Based on XML and FLEX

According to the estuarine and coastal data,this paper puts foraard a date structure standard and a service franework,and presents an approach to build a data service platform which integrates different types of data with local storage and internet display.Using XML technology to achieve the concentrated store management through database,using FLEX to achieve various data's real-time management based on WebGIS,then it provides a solution with unified organizational structure and integrated data management,a service is provided to support research and applications for estuarine and coastal area in Yangtze River Estuary.
