Array signal processing-based blind detection of frequency-hopping signals

An algorithm for blindly detecting frequency-hopping(FH) signals was proposed.The method is based on three main steps: i) compute the cross-correlation function(CCF) of FH signals from multichannels;ii) compute the power spectrum density matrix(PSDM) as a function of time;iii) generate spectrogram,segment hops of FH signals from spectrogram,and obtain the hops' parameters via analyzing the PSDM.The field test shows that the presented algorithm is effective and outperforms traditional methods by greatly improving the signal noise ratio(SNR).
