Edge Detection of X-ray Images Based On Wavelet Transform

In this paper, we discuss the application of wavelet transform to edge detection. According to the peculiarity of the x ray images, dyadic wavelet transform is successfully applied to detect edges and the Mallat algorithm is used in the wavelet decomposition.
