The bias of passband and aliasing-imaging attenuation of the conventional Cascaded Integrator-Comb(CIC) filter, which is used as anti-aliasing filter for decimating and interpolating, always can't come up to the requirement of software radio system,in order to deal with this problem,a improved method with Sharpened CIC filter cascading Interpolated Second-Order Polynomials(ISOP) has been proposed,it can enhance the performance both in passband and in stopband. The numerical value simulation results show that the new approach not only compensates the droop in the passband, but also enlarges the attenuation in aliasing-band,and is more desirable for the wide band signal processing in digital up-down converter of software radio.
