Rule engine is the deduction and induction software for dealing with the rules such as enterprise business logic and regulations.It provides an efficient rule processing algorithm.The popular application of Java in enterprises promotes the rapid development of Java rule engine technology.Three kinds of mainstream rule engines: Sun Java CAPS rule solution,JBoss Drools and Jess,as well as related technologies are introduced,and the three engines are compared and analyzed comprehensively.
