Analysing the Application of VPN to Campus Network

The Virtual Private Network(VPN) is a kind of technology of secure transmission of private information in the public web.VPN technology applied to campus network has raised its manageability,flexibility and safety.This paper makes a systematic eleboration on the technical characterisitcs of VPN and the configurations of the server and client in the construction of campus network.It analyses three kinds of safety techniques of VPN to make VPN work safely and effectively.
