Probabilistic visual cryptography scheme with reversing

A (k,n) probabilistic visual cryptography scheme (VCS) with reversing was devoted to reduce the pixel expansion, m, and improve the quality of the reconstructed secret image (measured by the relative difference, 0≤α≤1). The scheme is based on reversing scheme and probabilistic scheme. This visual cryptography scheme obtains n shares without pixel expansion. After processing with reversing, c (c is a positive integer) shares are distributed to a participant. Reversing and OR operations are used to recover the original secret image with a relative difference of 1-(1-α)c. Large values of c lead to improved reconstructed image quality. The pixel expansion of this scheme is 1/m of the scheme with reversing and is equal to the probabilistic scheme when c=1.
