Simulation of a Speech Coding in Collaboration Work Environment

In this letter，we present a speech coding, which meets the needs of speech coding in Cooperation Work Environment. Waveform Compensation Algorithm is introduced to improve the performance of the proposed coding. Emulation of this speech coding has been realized. Simulation result indicates that not only computational complexity and algorithm delay for speech coding are significantly less than that of the conventional coding, but also proposed coding maintains high speech quality and adapts itself to the features of speech stream. These advantages can make this speech coding potentially useful in the application of collaborative work.
