555 counter function diagram based on unbalanced RS trigger

In this paper,a new describing method of 555 counter is presented in view of the disadvantages of its descriptions.A new concept of unbalanced RS trigger is given,and the function diagram of 555 counter is established.The function diagram cinbines RS logical table,function table and logical symbol of 555 counter in a block,and describes the relationships of inputs and outputs directly and clearly.
