A QoS-based Model for Web Services Selection

Quality of Service is a critical factor in service-oriented applications.By expanding the standard service-oriented architecture model,a QoS-based model for web services selection is proposed,which includes new entities that support QoS.QoS information from both service provider and consumer sides is collected and used for QoS evaluation of web service.In service selection,while considering QoS ranking of services,a slide window strategy is used in this model.So system load can be shared and the phenomenon of load dithering can be avoided.Simulation results show the efficiency of this idea.
