Semi-blind Channel Estimation and Turbo Detection for Cooperative Communication Based on the EM Algorithm

This paper focuses on the channel estimation and symbol detection techniques for cooperative communication.A semi-blind channel estimation and turbo detection receiver based on the EM algorithm is presented.The novel receive scheme is in favor of saving the significant additional system resources that are required for assigning cooperation partners.And it can also improve the performance of both channel estimation and symbol detection.
