This paper introduced the basic principles of data mining,common algorithms,practical steps and techniques.Which provided a reference basis for decision-making to improve the efficiency of the orchids in vitro propagation.The importance of data mining in the orchids in vitro propagation was analysed.Emphasis was focused on the steps and methods of data mining applications.
